Marina Torres is diagnosed with stage-four kidney cancer and has only months to live. Her husband, Henrique Torres, seems more concerned about her half-sister Rebecca, to whom Marina constantly donates blood. Henrique mistakes Marina for a calculating gold digger, and she believes he never loved her.
