In 2006, Marcel 'The Sniper' Wallace wins the A LEAGUE title, but his wife is killed on rival Tyler Murray's orders. He spends 20 years hidden, working in a fast-food restaurant. When he returns as a coach, he reunites with his resentful son, Mars, the star of A LEAGUE. Marcel proves his worth with impossible shots while Murray resorts to kidnapping and blackmail. At the Hall of Fame, Marcel reveals his identity and Murray confesses to the murder. Victory comes when Mars accepts 20 birthday letters that were never sent, and they embrace.
