For ten years, Princess Isolda of Virídia has loved Temple Knights Captain Leonardo with all her heart—until she discovers his secret affair with her younger sister, Aline. Disillusioned, she takes Aline's place as the sacrifice to the fierce dragon ravaging the kingdom. In the dragon's territory, Isolda learns the truth: the ancient dragon Calebe, branded a cruel tyrant, is actually a gentle being trapped in eternal solitude. The two wounded souls heal each other in a forbidden love that transcends mortal and mythical borders. Leonardo soon regrets his betrayal and rushes to beg Isolda's forgiveness, but she firmly rejects him. Aline's malicious schemes are exposed, and she receives her due punishment. Leaving the past behind, Isolda chooses to stay by Calebe's side. Together, the lovers rebuild the kingdom and bring life back to the desolate land.
