Once hailed as the King of Cooking, chef Leon Kennedy falls into depression and homelessness after his wife dies in a car accident. Only his dog Dante remains by his side. A restaurant owner takes him in, unaware of his true identity, while executive sous-chef Bryant humiliates him in the kitchen. When unscrupulous businessman William threatens the restaurant, Leon must reclaim his legendary skills. Just as he regains his glory, jealous Bryant slanders him and resentful William kills Dante. Grieving, Leon picks up his chef's knife again, this time to fight for revenge.
